Our Management team is continuing to monitor the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and follow the guidelines provided by Center for Disease Control & Prevention, World Health Organization and local health departments.
The health and safety of our Guests and Employees is our number one priority.
As always, we continue to be committed to providing a clean and safe environment for you and your family to enjoy. As an extra level of precaution, we've implemented enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols.
In our guest rooms, we continue to use anti-bacterial/viral cleaners. Our Housekeeping staff is well trained in cleaning and sanitizing the rooms after each use and has increased attention on hard surfaces including, counter tops, glass and floors. To help increase ventilation in the rooms, our staff is trained to clean rooms with open doors and windows.
Increased attention in public areas that are high-touch and utilized most frequently, including:
Door knobs and handles
Front Desk, Lobby area and elevators
Business Center desk, computer keyboard and mouse
Shores Restaurant hostess stand, bar, dining tables, chairs and menus
Pool and Fitness Center equipment
Property water coolers
We have placed hand sanitizer on all common area countertops so that Guests and Employees can continually sanitize their hands.
In addition, we encourage all of our employees to wash their hands frequently and have reserved the right to request that our employees stay home if they are not feeling well. Our daily staff meetings include reminders on proper hand washing procedures and sanitation practices to keep this top of mind with our teams. During this precautionary period, we have advised our teams to not shake hands and to monitor personal space.
And while we hope to see you at the Shores, if you have symptoms of illness, please stay home and avoid contact with other people. Recuperation will be faster and prevent others from becoming ill.
